Call to Worship
We are 10 lepers, with scars and wounds –– and hope
for your healing touch. From our souls’ depths
we raise our voices to you.
“Jesus, Master! Have pity on us!”
As we glimpse the grace you pour upon us,
we thank you.

Collect
God our Creator and Redeemer, open our eyes to a larger awareness of your goodness, and our souls to deeper gratitude. Then, uplifted with thanksgiving, may we give ourselves to unpleasant tasks with good grace, and show irk-some people a good will such as we offer our best friends. Through Christ Jesus our ever-present Lord.
Amen!

Call to Confession
Even when we are faithless, Christ remains faithful.
Trusting in grace, let us confess our sins.
Prayer of Confession
Jesus, Master,
have mercy on us.
We keep our distance from you,
for we are broken and sick with sin.
Yet you see us, and cleanse us and make us whole.
Forgive us when we forget to return to you –
have mercy when we fail to praise your name,
and help us to exude the faith that makes us well. Amen.
Declaration of Forgiveness
Hear the good news:
Your call has been answered.
Christ has healed you,
and forgives your sin.
With glad hearts, return praise to God.

Benediction (Luke 17)
Jesus said to the leper,
“Get up and go on your way.
Your faith has made you well.”
Let us all claim Jesus’ healing
and liberation in our lives.
Get up and go on your way!
In Jesus’ name,
your faith has made you whole
And all God’s people say:
Amen.
